Sturm Graz and GAK Specials meet on Saturday, June 20, for an inclusion derby at Graz Main Square. The streetfootbALL festival 2026 promotes fair play, diversity, and community. Around 120 players from social institutions, clubs, and initiatives participate in the tournament. The tournament follows the rules of the Homeless World Cup, with a special focus on fair play, respect, and team spirit. Sturm Graz Specials and GAK Specials set a strong sign for inclusion and diversity. Philipp Albrecht, project coordinator of streetfootbALL austria, emphasizes the importance of the festival. The festival also offers music and opportunities to talk to each other. People with refugee experience, former homeless people, and people from social institutions play together with hobby footballers. The streetfootbALL festival shows the power of sports. Sturm Graz and GAK Specials play their inclusion derby at 1 pm. The friendly match has developed into a crowd magnet over the years. The spectators can expect many emotions and great enthusiasm. The festival is organized by streetfootbALL austria, a project of Caritas Steiermark. The project uses football as a tool for social work, building bridges and bringing people together.
