Sturm Graz has exercised the buy option for defender Jeyland Mitchell. The 21-year-old joins from Feyenoord Rotterdam, where he has signed a long-term contract. Mitchell played 26 times for the Bundesliga club last season, scoring one goal and providing one assist. "After a settling-in period in the autumn, Jeyland has impressively demonstrated his qualities and quickly established himself as a regular member of our team. Jeyland brings a unique strength profile to his position and still has great development potential", says Managing Director Michael Parensen. "Therefore, it was logical for us to exercise the contractually agreed buy option – both from a sporting and strategic perspective."
