Sturm Graz coach Fabio Ingolitsch has addressed criticism of his remarks about Oumar Diakité ahead of the Europa League match against Stade Rennes. The Salzburg native provided clarification on the matter during a press conference before the game.
Ingolitsch's team heads into the European week with confidence. They sit fourth in the Bundesliga table with 11 points from six games, fresh from a key 2-1 home win over Lask Linz. In that match, Diakité scored the winning goal in the 59th minute.
All focus now shifts to the next domestic fixture. Sturm travel to face league leaders Red Bull Salzburg, who are currently third, this weekend. The last meeting between the sides ended in a 1-1 draw back in March. The senior squad and injury list can be viewed on our squad page, with upcoming fixtures available on the fixtures schedule.
